The Start of a Journey...

Well, this is it. This is the start of an amazing journey throughout the day to day mind of a teen boy.

First off, I would like to address a simple problem with the stereotypes of boys nowadays.

1. Video Games. Of course, video games are on the top of the list. Lots of teen boys are seen as mindless gamers that hate school and wish to game all day. But, all things considered, who wouldn't? Who wouldn't hate school and not wish to waste the day away with a faster-paced alternative? I especially love Video Games, and think that they are WAY better than school.

2. Craziness/Horrible Attention Span. This one is for all those teachers reading this (probably none... other than you, mother.) We, and I assume I speak for the general teenage boyhood, are not very good listeners. Ok, fine, maybe some of us are better than others but not me. Maybe this attention deprivation is due to Video Games (which all the mothers would love me to say) or maybe this has another reason (sorry, mothers.) But I am pretty sure, with personal experience, that is very hard to actually pay attention to something that bores us to death.

3. Rudeness. Well now. This is quite a subject to talk about. Hence, we shall not. HA.

Ok, so, now I don't know what to talk about. Um.. what else is there to say. I'm avoiding a bunch of things (obviously) and I will never talk about them (obviously.) So, adios amigos. Sorry this one is so short, I'm planning on doing something bigger... when it comes to me.

  3. Good first blog, Logan although I think you wrote once on your Mommy’s blog. Remind me someday to tell you about writing a scathing response to a letter in the Morgantown newspaper when I was a teenager. Hmm! I remember writing it and seeing it published but can’t remember what I was so riled up about.

  5. Gaming is okay in moderation. I also like some of your other thoughts. Just remember to leave Nana and Papa out of those negative "parent" comments. We love you and don't want to be lumped into those people who actually have to make you work or school or anything like that. So congratulations on your blog and keep it up. We will be watching and reading (Pictures would be nice.) Papa and Nana
